How long will it take to complete the course?
The course will take around 1 to 6 months to complete depending on how much time you dedicate to it and how fast you complete its tasks. We recommend setting aside 12 to 13 hours a week / 50 hours a month to complete the projects before the deadline.
What certificate will I receive?
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a 300-Hour TESOL Certificate, demonstrating your proficiency in English language teaching principles and practical skills. Throughout the course, you will receive guidance and support on completing your assignments. You are expected to address any feedback and correct issues in your portfolio submissions. The 300-Hour TESOL Certificate will be issued only once all assignments have been completed successfully, ensuring it reflects both your knowledge and applied teaching competence.
What are the English proficiency requirements for this course?
Applicants must demonstrate a minimum English proficiency of B2 level (Upper-Intermediate CEFR). Acceptable proof includes: A valid English proficiency certificate (e.g., IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 72, or equivalent). Proof of citizenship from a native English-speaking country (e.g., UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa). If neither of the above applies, applicants must complete an oral interview with Tellem ESL to verify their English level.
Can I enroll if I don’t have an English certificate?
Yes, if you don’t have a certificate and are not from a native English-speaking country, you can complete an oral interview to verify your English level.
What if my English level is below B2?
You may enroll in live speaking classes to improve your English before taking the TESOL course.

We assume that by taking the course, you have access to a VPN (if needed), YouTube and Chrome or Firefox (internet browsers). You will need to use a laptop, computer, or smartphone for this course – a PC is recommended. You will also need decent internet speeds to comfortably watch the course videos. You should have access to an online conferencing tool like Zoom and know how to use basic text tools like Microsoft Word.
If I don’t understand an assignment, how do I ask for help?
Yes, accommodations are available for the oral interview component for students with documented disabilities.
